About our event
The aroma of mouthwatering BBQ will again fill the air in Athens, AL. The 3rd Annual Singing River Smoke-O-Rama BBQ Festival will be held on the 27th - 28th of March in 2026. The nationally sanctioned BBQ competition is the festival's main event, but it will also feature a People's Choice Contest, a Kids Que Contest, family-friendly activities, craft vendors, and food trucks. Fun for BBQ lovers of all ages!
Backyard Battle royal
Our event is the first of four cook-offs included in the Backyard Battle Royal. You must compete in three of the four KCBS events to win the prize money.
Beneficaries
This contest is a benefit to raise funds for the shop with a cop program presented by the Athens Police Department and the special needs rodeo presented by the Limestone County Sheriff's Department.
